This young lad has a nose for trouble. The insect is a cicada which is a kind of grasshopper and they live in temperate to tropical climates. They are sometimes referred to as ‘ jar flies ‘ and are related to leafhoppers and spittlebugs. I bet this young boy wishes this one was in a jam jar with the lid safely screwed on. I wonder what he is thinking.
