Readers who celebrated their 50th birthday a few years or more ago will have no trouble recognizing the silhouettes of these two famous comedy film stars. Even if they are looking a shadow of their former selves. One could very well be saying to the other ”Another fine mess you’ve got us into”, because that famous catchphrase was spoken many times by Oliver Hardy (on the left), to his jinxed and calamitous close friend Stan Laurel in the slapstick comedy duo’s roles as Laurel and Hardy in the 107 short films and movies the lovable duo starred in.
